We're grounded in scripture and guided by our values, so check out our website ( ( to be sure you're aligned before you step into the application process with us, particularly paying attention to our Beliefs and our Code. As a videographer, you'll get to work with a team and pitch ideas, own and oversee video campaigns, build creative treatments, conduct interviews, operate cameras, and edit videos that show how God is moving through our church.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Pitch ideas based on upcoming church needs, ensuring they align with the church's mission and vision
• Plan and execute video campaigns from initial concept to final production as a director
• Collaborate with teammates to develop creative concepts and pitch creative treatments
• Write video scripts for on-screen talent
• Conduct interviews for point-of-view (POV) videos, capturing authentic and impactful stories from individuals
• Build video sets with proper lighting and placement
• Execute all video production, including filming and editing
• Build and produce dynamic worship experience opener videos and church event recaps as needed

MUST-HAVES:

• Self-starter who enjoys coming up with and pitching ideas
• Ability to oversee a set and team to achieve a video's vision
• Ability to shoot video, light sets, and edit video
• 3+ years of experience writing scripts and/or creative treatments
• 3+ years of experience interviewing people for POV content
• Dynamic video editor
• Outgoing with exceptional communication skills
• Proactive and excellent ability to problem-solve
• Great attention to detail
• Time management skills and ability to work under pressure
• Ability to work well independently and with a team

NICE-TO-HAVES:

• Experience in graphic design or motion graphics
• Bachelor's degree in media, video/film, or related field
• Background in fine art, fashion, or music

DAY-TO-DAY: 

• We're a Sunday-Thursday work environment . Monday-Thursday, we're in the office (8:30AM - 5PM); on Sunday, we're supporting the weekend worship experience either directly in our roles or by choosing a weekly serving opportunity at one of our Elevation Church campuses.
• There's a lot to accomplish each week, so we're pretty fast-paced. We're also not afraid to pivot a strategy or project quickly to meet the needs of the weekend - adaptability is a key competence for us.
• Yes, we work hard. But we're good at playing hard, too. We're a creative staff, so there's no shortage of activities around our offices to have some fun !
