MS-IL Staffing & Packaging, and its local client, are NOW HIRING a Reach Truck Operator  in the  Hebron, Kentucky, area!

Pay: $19.00 / hour

Shift: 1st shift, 8:30AM – 5PM, Monday to Friday

(Weekend work is available & voluntary)

Job Responsibilities:

• Prioritize forklift driving safety by staying up to date on health and safety guidelines and forklift operating procedures.
• Safely maneuver forklifts within busy industrial environments.
• Responsible for loading, unloading and moving materials within the Warehouse in a safe and efficient manner, and for inventory integrity.
• Fills client orders within Crane SOPs.
• Consolidate partial pallets for incoming goods to ensure efficient storage.
• Stack and unstack large quantities of goods onto shelves or pallets, maintaining proper organization.
• Stack wooden pallets and securely package goods with plastic wrap for transport.
• Transport goods from storage areas to loading zones for shipment.
• Unload deliveries and relocate goods to designated storage locations.
• Maintain a clean, hazard-free forklift operating area by removing spills or obstructions.
• Regularly inspect forklift equipment for any damages or operational faults.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 6 months' experience operating a Reach Truck.
• 1+ years of operating sit-down forklifts, with the expectation of working with a reach truck at high elevations.
• Proven experience working in warehouses or construction sites, operating forklifts, heavy goods vehicles, or similar industrial machinery.
• Understanding of industrial storage procedures, including stacking pallets.

Certifications Required:

• Level 2 Certificate in Forklift Truck Operations (or equivalent).

Physical Requirements:

• Stand or sit for long periods of time
• Reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch and frequently required to climb or balance
• Regularly lift and/or move 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds by hand

Skills for Success:

• Ability to add, subtracts, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
• Ability to read, comprehend and complete basic checklists, forms or other related documents.
• Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner.
• Balances team and individual responsibilities.
