PRODUCTION ASSISTANT JOB DESCRIPTION

SUMMARY

Production Assistant is an entry-level professional participating in a support role, responsible for aiding various departments. Enthusiastic, conscientious, hard-working individual who wants to develop their career in the Entertainment industry. We are looking for a competent Production Assistant who will contribute to a positive attitude and work hard to manage and improve our procedures. Moderate physical activity. Requires handling of heavy-weight objects - potentially sharing load of lifting robots that weigh up to 300 pounds. In addition, standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day.
DUTIES AND RESPONSUBILITIES

• Prepare supplies and equipment needed for the set.
• Manage the equipment as needed.
• Assist other crew members with their duties.
• Prepare paperwork such as scripts for the set.
• Make sure all the members have their necessary tools.
• Assist actors with their needs.
• Perform safety checks for people and equipment on the set.
• Deliver messages among team members.
• Help with various administrative work.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Physical strength and stamina.
• A valid driver's license, available to pick up orders during shifts.
• Willing to work on weekends and public holidays.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a timely manner.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Proactive problem solver.
• Able to bring in a computer and possess strong computer skills. Savvy with Microsoft Office, and Google Suites.
