GREAT POSITION FOR AN EXPERIENCED NANNY WHO WOULD LOVE CARING FOR TWO YOUNG CHILDREN!

Family located in a comfortable Accokeek, MD home is in need of an experienced nanny who is loving, caring, and energetic for their 3 year old son and 11 month old daughter! Care will start as soon as possible and will take place Monday, Tuesday and Friday, from 9:00 am-4:00 pm.

This is a long term position.

Three-plus years of toddler and infant experience is a must and the candidate will be expected to adhere to a daily schedule directed by parents. Teaching through play and providing a safe and loving environment are desired. The family values an active lifestyle. The parents would like a caregiver that is able to address needs and challenges to insure their children feel respected and secure.

The ideal candidate will be tender-hearted, exhibit a loving demeanor, and be able to commit to the position until the end of June, possibly with an extension. The candidate must have the ability to provide toddler and infant care as documented by verifiable references. Nanny will be responsible for closely monitoring and attending to the children's normal day to day needs. Other duties consist of prepping meals and keeping areas of care clean and tidy.

Food and rest breaks are expected to be taken between the child's sleeping or down times.

General overall duties will consist of:
•Care for and engage with the children
•Make sure to constantly monitored for safety and other needs such as toileting and rest
•Prep meals
•Assure kitchen and general areas are kept clean and tidy

Candidates should demonstrate an ability to be interactive with the children as they develop, engaging with age-appropriate conversation, reading and active play.

Candidates must become infant/child CPR & First Aid certified and pass a comprehensive background check.

Requirements
•Must Have at Least 3 Years Verifiable Toddler and Infant Care Experience
•Have a Minimum of 2-3 Amazing References or Letters of

Recommendations
•Ability to be flexible
•Proficient in the English Language
•Clean Criminal and Driving Record
•CPR and First Aid Certified or willing to become certified

• Must be COVID-19 Vaccinated

•Ability to use sound judgment

Benefits

Starting pay is $22 per hour
