Job Description

Ridge Periodontics & Dental Implants specializes in periodontics, dental implants, gingival grafting, and laser periodontal surgery. We are adding a new doctor to our practice and are looking for another dedicated and enthusiastic dental assistant to join our great team.

Responsibilities include:

• Make patients feel welcome and comfortable!
• Set up procedure rooms
• Assist dentists with procedures
• Take x-rays and impressions
• Infection control & sterilization
• Communicate with general dentists to make sure we have everything we need for thorough examinations
• Update patient records
• Order products & keep track of inventory
• Chart for doctors and hygienists
• Provide oral hygiene education
• Schedule appointments and track patients as needed

Qualifications:

• Licensed dental assistant, or in progress for new grads. Periodontal experience not required—we are happy to train the right person.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
