This position reports to Production Manager Your role and responsibilities • Authorized to legally work in the US. • 3 years' experience in a Manufacturing environment. • Must be familiar and have practical experience with SAP and other applicable software. • Strong Microsoft skills. • Strong interpersonal skills. • Must be self-motivated with a high level of engagement. • Adept problem-solving skills. • Ability to collaborate with multiple departments and work teams. • Experience in dealing with the cultural diversity of a global business environment. Qualifications for the role Create and maintain detailed production schedules per the fabrication team. Establish sequence and lead time of each operation in in fabrication. Monitors schedule adherence, identifies key root causes for deviations and takes follow-up improvement actions Feed information on production capacity issues to the supervisor and operations manager. Provide accurate information regarding material available to supervisor. Execute daily, plant-level materials requirement planning (MRP) to create and manage production requirement to meet the production delivery schedules. Monitor inventory levels daily based on demand . Work with Procurement, Materials Management and Operations to optimize material availability and resolve any issues that may affect the schedule. Make any necessary adjustments or corrections to the schedule. Identify problems and assist with improvement actions. Participate in and/or run weekly meetings.
