Position Summary
As the Executive Director, you will provide inspiring leadership to our senior living community, ensuring that residents receive compassionate care, employees feel valued, families are engaged, and resources are effectively managed. You will oversee the coordination and delivery of life enrichment, healthcare services, food service, sales, and maintenance operations.
Essential Functions
Leadership and Staff Development
Lead the hiring, onboarding, and continuous development of staff who are dedicated to providing exceptional service and care for our residents.
Set clear performance expectations for team members and support their growth in supervisory skills to meet objectives.
Communicate the community's purpose and strategic goals clearly to all staff members.
Sales
Foster a sales-oriented culture within the community, ensuring every team member understands their role in enhancing occupancy.
Build and nurture relationships with healthcare providers, referral sources, and resident families to expand our referral network.
Organize educational and networking events to promote our community and engage with stakeholders.
Collaborate with the Vice Presidents of Sales and Marketing to enhance our visibility in the market and beyond.
Operations Management
Manage the community's operations within the established budget to ensure efficiency and quality care.
Create and maintain an innovative staffing schedule that optimizes resources while ensuring excellent resident care.
Prepare and submit accurate financial reports as required by state regulatory agencies and the corporate office.
Stay informed about state regulations and ensure all reportable incidents are reported and investigated promptly.
Operational and Clinical Compliance
Assist in preparing and conducting periodic operational and clinical compliance audits, both internal and external.
Ensure all healthcare services comply with state, federal, and third-party accreditation regulations.

Minimum Qualifications
Licensed or certified Administrator.
Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
Equivalent experience in a similar role will be considered.
Minimum of three (3) years of experience leading a senior living community.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Business or a related field.
Ten (10) years of experience leading a senior living community.
Prior experience in opening a new senior living community.
Physical Working Requirements
Ability to travel using a personal vehicle, including nighttime travel.
Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
Exposure to outside environmental conditions occasionally, with frequent indoor work and some temperature changes.
