**Job Title: Customer Service Representative**
**Job Summary**
We are seeking a friendly and professional Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for our valued customers, providing them with accurate information, guiding them through our custom product selection and order process, and addressing any concerns they may have. Your primary goal will be to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty by building sustainable relationships through open and interactive communication.
**Responsibilities**
- **Customer Interaction:** Warmly greet customers and manage incoming contacts via phone, email, and other methods. Proactively reach out to customers when appropriate.
- **Information Provision:** Provide accurate, valid, and complete information about our products and services using the right procedures, guidelines, information systems, and resources.
- **Account and Order Management:** Guide customers in initiating and maintaining their accounts and orders. Monitor orders from ticket creation, through proofing, and sending to production.
- **Problem Resolution:** Actively listen to customer concerns, gather relevant information, and escalate issues to the appropriate team leader when needed. Communicate proposed resolutions to customers promptly.
- **Customer Needs Assessment:** Identify and assess customers' needs to achieve satisfaction. Recommend potential products or services to management based on customer input.
- **Team Collaboration:** Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related objectives as needed.
- **Adaptability:** Willingness to learn our custom product business and work effectively in a remote, home-based office environment.
**Required Skills and Qualifications**
- Demonstrated customer support experience
- Excellent communication and active listening skills
- Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of personalities
- Information technology user literacy: desktop computing and applications (especially Apple OSX-related tools), accessing and using databases
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively and efficiently
- Proficiencies: Business orientation, active listening, quality focus, problem-solving, positive attitude, attention to detail, people orientation, market and product knowledge, phone and electronic communication skills, conflict resolution, multitasking, patience, organizational skills, adaptability, ability to work under pressure, desktop computing skills
**Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions**
- Typical office environment, with short periods in manufacturing environments. Exposure may include dust, dirt, high noise levels, and temperature variations.
- Constantly required to hear, speak, articulate, and use manual dexterity.
- Regularly required to use color vision, grasp, reach, and sit for prolonged periods.
